For 9 years, Trinity University’s Coates Library was proud to sponsor the Undergraduate Research Awards. This archive includes research projects receiving this award through 2017. This annual program recognized undergraduate students who exhibit outstanding achievement in the use of library and information sources.

Beginning in 2018, this collection will include recipients and exemplars of the Coates Library's "Research Thing" Prizes. These awards maintain the focus of the Undergraduate Student Research Awards, but encourage a wider range of submissions that reflect the many different types of student creations that involve research.
