Abstract
This is a social studies until for 3rd grade. The suggested length is 15 days. In this unit students will learn about what it means to inquire and what an explorer is. Students will investigate how people, ideas, and events can have an impact on communities. Throughout the unit, students will have an opportunity to create their own community as well as take on a role to create change.
