Abstract
This three week unit is designed to introduce the basic structure of Geometry, including defined terms, undefined terms, postulates, and theorems. Students will learn to use compasses and rulers to construct congruence segments and angles. Additionally, students will review Algebra I concepts such as the distance and midpoint formulas. It is important to note that the lessons are broken up by "days" which consist of 55 minute class periods. These should be considered guidelines and will need to be adjusted as the unit progresses.
