Abstract
This is a 1st grade geometry unit designed to be taught over the course of 3 weeks. Students cover TEKS 1.6 A, B, C, D, E, and F. By the end of the unit students will be able to recognize common 2 and 3D shapes, compose shapes of other shapes, and describe shape characteristics.
