On February 14-17, 2007, teachers, students, church musicians, and scholars from throughout the United States gathered at the University of Tennessee to study and explore the music written in the century after J.S. Bach. The conference, cosponsored by the University of Tennessee and the American Guild of Organists, celebrated the university's new Richards, Fowkes organ. As in the convention at Notre Dame in 2005, the goal of the conference was to unite teaching, scholarship, and performance.
